Courageous Conversations for Community Workers - Thursday 4th July 2019

In partnership with Blacktown City Council, the WASH House is running a series of ‘Courageous Conversations’ workshops.

This workshop is specifically for community workers across Blacktown LGA who wish to work with and support their community in taking action to shift attitudes.

The Courageous Conversations project aims to inspire individuals and organisations to commit to actions promoting gender equity and respectful relationships. Courageous Conversations provides individuals and organisations with the knowledge and skills to have conversations that challenge sexist comments, discrimination and disrespectful behaviour. Through these conversations we can create a culture free of rigid stereotypes, where all community members feel safe and respected.
